Daily Makeup

I don't know about you, but I like to wear a "little bit" of makeup everyday. Nothing too glamorous of course, because I like to look natural, but I cant live without mascara, concealer, blush and gloss, before I leave home to go to work. Ok! this already seems too much lol but I don't use strong colours!

It's funny because while I was writing this I remembered Carrie Bradshaw's character words (well, not the exact words) telling Mr. Big that she doesn't wake up looking that good every morning and that she actually needs stuff to look that great! Haha and I totally agree!

. So, I've decided to show you some of my daily makeup products and also ask you if there are any products that you advice or suggest. I'm not the kind of girl who always stick to the same products (or even style) so I'm open to suggestions.

My latest Chanel purchase: Mat Lumière - Luminous Matte Powder Makeup

I also want to buy the new Chanel White Satin - Limited Edition, from the Spring 2008 Makeup Collection (see image below), but when I went to the store it was sold out. They are expecting more White Satin to arrive from France so I had to put myself on a waiting list.

What about you? Do you wear makeup everyday? What products do you use and do you recommend? By the way, I'm thinking on buying a new face powder but I'm not sure which one I should buy, do you have any advices?

Park Avenue meets... Hearst

Lydia Marie Hearst-Shaw is a model, a designer (for Puma, 2007) a socialite and an heiress.

She was born in Wilton, Connecticut, but she lives in Manhattan.

“Before I started working, I never came to New York. It took me aback at first.” - Lydia Hearst-Shaw

Lydia is only 5ft 7 in (1.70m) but that didn't stop her from being an amazing model. She was named one of People’s Most Beautiful People in 2004 and in 2007 The Michael Awards recognized her as their Model of the Year.

She was discovered by fashion photographer Stephen Meisel and her first modelling assignment was for the cover of the Italian edition of Vogue.

She works for One Model Management, NYC; Independent Talent, London; Ford Models, Paris; Beatrice, Milan and One Theatrical, LA (acting).

She briefly attended the Lawrenceville School. Since graduating from Wilton High School she attended Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut where she majored in communications and technology.

But Lydia is not only known for being a model, she is also an heiress to the publishing fortune established by her maternal great-grandfather William Randolph Hearst, which reports $5 billion a year in annual revenue.

Well done Lydia, you got it all! The looks, the job and the money.

Colours for Spring

I've said many times that I love black, although now that Spring is almost here, I'm starting to feel the urge for some coloured outfits. Don't get me wrong, I still love black but I need some colour back in my life.

Spring collections are full with bright colours, patterns, flowers etc, so I've search for some outfits and accessories (both expensive and cheap) and the following are a few that caught my eye!
