A "Balmainaholic" (term I've just invented) is someone who is completely addicted to Balmain. I know I am. I love all the Collections; the shoes are to die for, the clothes are just wowable and Christophe... ohhhh Chris is my "Designer Crush". I know most of you are thinking about vacations, going to the beach, wearing flat sandals and summer dresses, but as soon as I put my eyes on these fabulous Balmain Jackets (Fall 2009 Collection) I wanted to share them with you. They are beautiful and very cool at the same time!

What about you? Do you consider yourself a "Balmainaholic"?

Um "Balmainaólico" (termo que eu acabei de inventar) é alguém completamente viciado em Balmain. Eu sou viciada em Balmain. Amo todas as Colecções; os sapatos são de morrer, as roupas são completamente "wow" e o Christophe... ohhhh o Chris, estou caidínha por ele (posso dizer que é a minha "Designer Crush". The Making of a Chanel Haute Couture Outfit - Como são feitas as peças Chanel de Alta Costura (Video)

Every piece of haute couture clothing is the product of hours upon hours of manual labor. Chanel gave nymag an exclusive video footage of its seamstresses turning a Karl Lagerfeld sketch into a finished dress and jacket. After watching the entire process in the video I completely understand why a Chanel outfit is so expensive; especially "Haute Couture". (Ads before the video starts)

Cada peça de Alta Costura é o resultado de muitas horas de trabalho manual. Neste video é possível ver como é feito um vestido e um casaco de Alta Costura Chanel, desde o desenho feito no papel por Karl Lagerfeld, até ao produto final. Depois de assistir a este video compreendo perfeitamente porque é que as peças da Chanel são tão caras; especialmente as de Alta Costura. Confesso que apesar de não ter sido eu a fazer as peças lol, fiquei exausta só de pensar no trabalho e no tempo que todo este processo implica. (anúncios antes do video começar)

I don't know about you, but I have this thing for Alexander Wang. Apart from being a brilliant designer, I mean I LOVE his collections, he is also very cute. Just look at his adorable smile!

In my opinion he must be thinking: "yeah I'm successful and I bloody rule. I know it and you know it too haha!"
