Yesterday I went to the opening of the second Chill Factory Hairdresser Salon. I love the decoration and the fact that in the same space they have a bar, a room for fashion productions and also a tattoo parlour. That's pretty cool!

Ontem estive na inauguração do segundo Chill Factory, que será o Salão de Cabeleireiro por excelência do novo espaço Villa Louise Fashion House.

Adorei a decoração e o facto de no mesmo espaço ter lugar o cabeleireiro, um bar, uma sala para tatuagens e uma área para produção de moda!

On February 1, Chanel will jack up handbag prices by $50 to $100 on classic styles, according to salespeople in the Soho boutique. But someone in the Madison Avenue store said the classic Jumbo Caviar Leather bag will go up to $2,995 from $2,650.

Blouses and shirts, especially in white or other neutral colours, have been a wardrobe essential since ever. It's a basic piece that every woman should have. We can wear them with jeans to achieve a casual look or with a black pair of trousers or a skirt to go to work, you name it!

I love to wear my blouses under my faux fur coats/vests, with denim shorts and a gold statement necklace!

Chanel Obsessions - Obsessões Chanel

Lately we all have been obsessing over a few Chanel products, especially because as soon as they get out for sale, they immediately sold out! It started with the Chanel Le Vernis "219 Black Satin" (at least, for me the obsession started with that nail varnish).

When I heard about it I went mad trying to get one for myself, but I couldn't find it anywhere. Celebrities were walking around with that beautiful black colour on their nails and the world went crazy over it. I remember reading other fashion blogs talking about it and how hard it was to get one. Finally it came out to stores again and we all could buy one! It's definitely one of my favourite colours.

Ultimamente temos andado obcecadas com alguns produtos Chanel, principalmente pelo porque mal saem para venda, esgotam imediatamente! Tudo começou (pelo menos no meu caso), com o Chanel Le Vernis "219 Black Satin". Assim que ouvi falar nesta cor e vi várias celebridades a passearem-se com o mesmo desejei imediatamente um para mim, mas não o conseguia encontrar em lado nenhum.

Lembro-me, igualmente, de ler noutros blogues de moda que ninguém conseguia encontrar o verniz à venda. No fundo andávamos todas ou quase todas desesperadas para conseguir comprar um frasquinho. Felizmente voltou a estar à venda e eu pude, tal como muitas de vocês, comprar um e confesso que ainda hoje é das minhas cores preferidas.

Last year after the Fall 2009 ready-to-wear Chanel show, we went mad again. This time for the gorgeous Chanel Le Vernis " 407 Jade". After seeing the models walking down the runway with this beautiful green colour on their nails, everyone went crazy over it. I've tried to find it in Lisbon, Madrid and Paris but the answer was: SOLD OUT! And no one is selling it. Well, except on ebay where you can buy a bottle for almost 150USD. I'm not paying that for a bottle, even being a Chanel lover and crazy for their varnishes.

Anyway, it's still not available at stores and I don't know if it will ever be, however maybe I managed to get one for myself ;) but I'm leaving the answer to another post!

O ano passado depois do desfile Outuno/Inverno de pronto-a-vestir da Chanel ficámos novamente obcecadas por outro verniz. desta vez pelo lindíssimo Chanel Le Vernis " 407 Jade". Depois de vermos as modelos a desfilar com esta cor verde água nas unhas, lá veio o desespero para tentar encontrar o mesmo.

Tentei encontrar em Lisboa, Madrid e Paris; resposta: ESGOTADO! Não há para venda. Bem, a não ser no ebay, mas aí pedem cerca de 150 dólares por um frasco e esse valor eu não dou, mesmo sendo doida pela Chanel e pelos seus vernizes.

Não sei se esta cor vai estar para venda futuramente, no entanto quem sabe que eu já não consegui um ;) mas a resposta fica para outro post!

The perfect colour for spring and acording to Who What Wear it's the colour of the moment, so I suppose if you like it you better run to find one before it solds out! I already have mine.

Ok agora o falatório começou novamente e adivinhem?! tem a ver com mais um verniz da Chanel, o Chanel Le Vernis "505 Particulière". A cor é amorosa e perfeita para a primavera e segundo o site Who What Wear é a cor do momento, por isso se gostam é melhor despacharem-se e comprarem um frasquinho antes que esgote. O meu já cá canta!

The ultimate obsession is the "Les Trompe L'Oeil de Chanel" Temporary Skin Art. Each pack, of these limited edition, contains five sheets (with 55 total designs included in each) and starting in mid-February/March they will be sold for $75.00 at Chanel boutiques.

The runway show was absolutely amazing and the models looked really cute, but to be honest I'm not sure (besides the show, productions and magazine editorials) if walking around with these tattoos isn't a little bit tacky? And another thing that intrigues me is: will we be able to put the tattoos on ourselves?

During the shows there's a team of makeup artists, but home alone, will we be able to put a tattoo around the neck without ruining it?! Hummmm guess not, so I have 2 dilemmas here: 1st if I like the tattoos and if they are easy to put on ourselves.

Do you guys like the tattoos and will try to buy them? I'm curious to know what you think.

A última obsessão e a meu ver a maior (pois já anda tudo em alvoroço), está relacionada com as tatuagens temporárias vistas no desfile da Chanel, as "Les Trompe L'Oeil de Chanel". Cada embalagem desta colecção limitada contém cinco folhas (com 55 tatuagens no total) e a partir de meados de Fevereiro/Março estarão à venda nas boutiques Chanel por 75 dólares.

O desfile foi lindíssimo e as modelos estavam amorosas com as tatuagens no corpo, mas para ser sincera (tirando desfiles, produções de moda e editoriais) não será um bocadinho foleiro andarmos a passear com estas tatuagens no corpo?

É apenas a minha opinião, mas na realidade quando penso nisso acho meio estranho, para além do facto de que será que sozinhas em casa conseguimos colocar as tatuagens? Imaginem-se a por uma tatuagem à volta do pescoço sem ajuda. Sim! Porque nos desfiles há uma equipa à volta das modelos, mas "home alone"? hummm não me parece!

Assim sendo estou com dois dilemas: 1º não sei se gosto ou não das tatuagens para usar no dia a dia ou mesmo numa ocasião especial, 2º conseguiremos colocar as mesmas no corpo sem as estragar?

O que é que acham? Gostam das tatuagens, imaginam-se a usá-las? Adorava saber a vossa opinião.

I totally agree with Scott and understand what he meant when he wrote that. This kid is special, this kid has an absolutely sense of style out of this world (for some completely out). Some don't understand the spirit and the strength of this photo and of this boy and only notice the sneakers, others don't understand the art behind every outfit he wears, others just don't like it and others like "moi" fell in love for his creativity!

Eu concordo completamente com o Scott e compreendo o que ele quis dizer quando escreveu a frase acima. Este miudo é especial, este miudo tem um sentido de estilo completamente fora deste mundo (para alguns fora demais). Uns não compreendem o espírito e a força desta fotografia e deste rapaz e apenas reparam nos ténis, outros não compreendem a arte por detrás de cada "outfit" que ele veste, outros simplesmente não gostam e outros como "moi" apaixonaram-se pela sua criatividade!

I know his style for quite a long now and I've seen many of his outfits (also casual looks, but always very stylish, very Charles), but when I saw these photos I got the chills, I literally did! The way he stands so gracefully, "très chique", untouchable like a piece of art in a museum.

I love the colours, the contrast between the red and the black, I adore all the pieces of clothing, from the shoes, to the leggings and the coat.

Já conheço o seu estilo há muito tempo e já vi muitos dos seus "outfits" (até "looks" mais casuais, mas sempre muito "stylish", muito Charles) no entanto quando vi estas fotos fiquei arrepiada, literalmente! Colada ao computador apreciei o modo como está de pé nas escadas, com um ar gracioso, "très chique", intocável como uma peça de arte num museu.

Adoro as cores, o contraste entre o vermelho e o preto, adoro todas as peças, desde o casaco, às "leggings" e aos sapatos.

Being this skinny, this pale, so blond, so young (I believe he is now 16) and so "Grinch" lookalike, may be kind of awkward and strange for some of you, but it's all part of the package. He couldn't be any way different or it wouldn't be Charles. But more important than his body, is his mind. What makes such a young boy have this fabulous sense of style and unique taste in fashion? I can only say that whilst some are born with a gift to sing or play piano, others born with "THIS" gift for fashion.

O facto de ser tão magro, tão pálido, loiro, novo (penso que agora tem 16 anos) e tão parecido com o "Grinch", podem torná-lo estranho para alguns de vocês, mas tudo isto se complementa. Ele de modo algum poderia ser de outra maneira, pois deixaria de ser o Charles. Mas mais importante que o corpo é a sua mente. He is also the protégé of the renowed fashion journalist Diane Pernet (the blogger behind “A Shadded View on Fashion” – one of the world’s most influential fashion blogs). Diane who has been working for vogueparis.com, elle.com, been a designer, a critic, a talent scout and a photographer, has also a knack for spotting talent super early.
